Below we share all the details of the recipe for this simple fried dumpling and also the step-by-step photos.
Ingredients for Making Simple Rain Cookie:
2 cups of common wheat flour
1 cup of sugar (160 grams)
1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)
1 medium egg
1 teaspoon of chemical yeast
1 liter of oil for frying
sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle
How to Make Simple Rain Cookie:
Start this rain muffin recipe by sifting the flour into a large bowl. Add sugar and yeast and mix.
Tip: You can also add orange or lemon zest to improve the flavor of your rain cookies!
Open a small hole in the center and place the milk and egg lightly beaten there. Mix it well with your hands or with an electric mixer, until you get a consistent mass, but slightly soft and sticky.
Tip: If you think the dough is too runny or crumbly, just add more milk or more flour.
Put the oil in a pan, heating it and, when it is very hot, turn the heat down a little. Shape portions of the dough with your hands greased with oil or with two tablespoons and place frying.
Tip: With the help of a spoon, turn the cakes so that they fry evenly on all sides. Fry only 4 to 6 muffins at a time to prevent them from sticking together.
After frying, remove the rain cakes to a plate with absorbent paper and leave for a few seconds to eliminate excess oil.
Finally, put your still-warm rain dumplings in a bowl of sugar and cinnamon mixed in and they're ready to delight everyone! Tell us in the comments what you think of this rain dumpling recipe with few ingredients and also see these different rain dumpling recipes:
